Check a value against its source
Every figure on this site comes from a vendor page with a URL and a capture date. This page explains how to check one.
Find the source
The method page lists each source with its URL, its capture date and its source level. A figure on a tool's entry belongs to one of those sources.
Check the line
Open the source URL and find the same line the figure comes from: the price, the tier feature, or the terms sentence. Write down the date you read it. If the page now shows a different value, the vendor's page is the reference, and the figure on this site is revised.
What a changed value looks like
A revised figure keeps the same page URL. The revision shows the new capture date and the method version, so you can see what changed and when. The 2026 edition stays at /rankings/2026/ as the record of the capture date printed there.
Method questions
Questions about weights and rules are answered on the method page, which includes the arithmetic for both ranked tools and the places where the order depends on how a vendor text is read.
